Up a couple buy-ins over at Stars

I've played the last couple days over at PokerStars, and I think I am up a couple buy-ins. My first impressions of the cash game players at 100NL 6max are that they are a little bit worse than Full Tilt. I had people limp/calling with K5o, people calling cont bets with no pair/no draw, etc...

Here are the more interesting hands:

************************************

This guy was a 40/35 donk. Probably should have bet more on the flop. What do you think I should have done on the turn when that 3rd club comes? Is this push ok?

Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

MP: $240
CO: $136.90
BTN: $43.25
Hero (SB): $203.80
BB: $41.95
UTG: $51

Pre-Flop: 8 8 dealt to Hero (SB)
2 folds, CO raises to $3, BTN calls $3, Hero raises to $15, BB folds, CO calls $12, BTN folds

Flop: ($34) 8 5 2 (2 Players)
Hero bets $22, CO calls $22

Turn: ($78) K (2 Players)
Hero bets $166.80 and is All-In, CO folds

Results: $78 Pot ($3 Rake)
Hero mucked 8 8 and WON $75 (+$38 NET)

*********************************

This guy was running at 50/11 and liked to lead out of position a lot. He seemed to fold if faced with resistance, so I pegged him as a "bluffer". He has $58 left, so I think a push is the only play here. Though, a case can be made for a flat call and let him bluff the river again (Though I wanted to charge him if he had a Ten in his hand)

Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

SB: $94.90
Hero (BB): $123.05
UTG: $113.15
MP: $96
CO: $102.95
BTN: $52.60

Pre-Flop: J Q dealt to Hero (BB)
4 folds, SB calls $0.50, Hero raises to $4, SB calls $3

Flop: ($8) J Q 9 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $7, SB calls $7

Turn: ($22) 2 (2 Players)
SB bets $25, Hero raises to $112.05 and is All-In, SB folds

Results: $72 Pot ($3 Rake)
Hero mucked J Q and WON $69 (+$33 NET)

*******************************

I didn't know what to do here on the turn when the 3rd heart fell with KK out of position. I'm thinking Bet/Fold?

Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

SB: $113.15
BB: $100.50
UTG: $86.30

Flop: ($16.50) 3 8 Q (3 Players)

Turn: ($42.50) 7 (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $18, Hero raises to $122.30 and is All-In, CO calls $40.50 and is All-In

River: ($159.50) K (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $159.50 Pot ($3 Rake)
Hero showed K K (three of a kind, Kings) and LOST (-$76.50 NET)
CO showed 2 A (a flush, Ace high) and WON $156.50 (+$80 NET)

*********************************

**********************************

I am planning on playing in the Mookie tonight after trick-or-treating. I haven't quite decided how much longer I want to be playing cash games at PokerStars. It is definitely more difficult since I don't have stats on anyone over there. But it is a nice to do something different, especially when I'm in a rut.

Cheers!

Oooo, Yuck. I'm not a big fan of how blogger puts those club/heart/diamond/spade pictures. Kind of hard to read.

Anyone have a better way of posting Hand Histoies to blogs? Maybe there is a setting in blogger to turn off those boxes?
