I Need Motivation

I can't explain why, but I just haven't been that motivated to play much poker so far this month. I've been trying a few different things to liven things up, but it really hasn't worked. I've been experimenting with short-stacking, and it was nice change in pace for a while. I think I might have won a few bucks. If I had a PokerEV graph, my expectation line would be a lot higher than the actual winning line. It's unbelievable they kind of crap people will call with against a short-stack. I had people calling my PF all-ins with 76o, 97s, K2o, etc...

I think the next thing I will do is Sit-n-Go's. I haven't played SNGs in a long time, so I think it will be fun.

********************************

I'm planning on heading down to Iowa this weekend to play some live NL at the casino (MN casinos can't spread No Limit). There is a casino just south of the MN border, and it's only about an hour and a half away. The only crappy thing about this casino, is that they just changed the buy-in rules for the NL games to let you only buy-in for 50 BBs max. So at a 1/2 table, you can only buy-in for $100. Why they would do this is beyond me. It basically turns it into video poker. It'll be fun though to donk it up live a bit.

Cheers!

Much juicier NL games at Turtle Lake, WI unless you're in southern MN, it would be closer to go there.

Hi,
I have a poker blog too, trying to exchange links with as many poker players as possible. My site is http://www.eurekakid.com, I’d love to link your site (http://pokerfool.blogspot.com/), let me know if you want to trade links and I’ll get yours up right away.

Thanks!

I am big fan of your blog and need an advise. I play currently 0.10/0.25 NL Holdem on PokerStars. When do you think is better to move to the next 0.25/0.50 level? What $ amount should I reach to be able playing next level?
Thank you :))
