Still on a bad run
Well, what can I say. The bad run continues. I finally won a $15 SNG yesterday morning,, but since then, all I've had is extremely bad luck.
Here is the report from my last 3 SNGs.
$20 SNG at Stars. I'm 3rd in chips with 4 people left. Ah yes, the bubble. The bubble hates me.

So I hit 2 pair on the flop. I should have raised all-in. When the ten comes on the turn, I figure he has another one in his hand, and I'm drawing real thin. Imagine my surprise when the cards flip over and he shows AJ. He called my flop raise with a gutshot and 1 over.
The next SNG was a $15 Turbo. I got disconnected from PokerStars, and lost my connection for the next half hour, so obviously, I got busted out of that one.
Then this morning, another $15 Turbo SNG. 4 people left. Me and another dude are the short stacks. Blinds are big, so I have to play a hand real soon.

ok, so he was the big stack, and only needed to call 800 more. I guess I can justify that call when you have so many chips. And of course, his 4 outer comes on the river.
I've been rivered so many times lately, its unbelievable.
Oh, and a couple SNGs before that, my AA got beat by KK again when all the money got in PF.
On the bonus front, I deposited $100 over at sportingbet.com. $100 for 500 contributed raked hands, and you only have to play the .05/.10 NL games. I've received $30 of the bonus so far.
Players there are really bad too.
Check out this hand from this morning.
I'm on the button with AK. there are like 5 limpers, so I raise it up to 7x the BB. I get a bunch of callers.
Pot is $3.50.
Flop comes 9,2,2.
I bet $2 and get one caller.
Turn is a 5.
I bet the rest of my stack, which is a little over half the pot, and he calls (has me covered).
He shows the powerful hand of A8.
Guess what comes on the river. Yep, an 8.
I know I can't be results orientated. I just have to worry about making the right decisions. I kind of laugh off all of these bad beats, but deep down inside, I want to punch my F*(&*in monitor.
last week was my worst poker week by far. I lost about $250 playing poker. I did get about $180 in bonus money, so my bankroll hasn't dropped too much. its hovering around the $1100 mark.
Hopefully this blog will stop being a bad beat blog soon.
